Basket too small.
I like the pot for cooking other things but they shouldn't say DEEP frying because it's not deep and the basket is small. You can only fry very small batches of food at a time.
I CANNOT RECOMMEND IT
When I seen this kitchen tool, I thought that it was a welcome invention to have a glass lid on the pot while you are frying your chicken, to prevent splattering. Well, as it turns out, the glass lid does not fit on the pot when the basket is inserted. So this is just a plain old, stove top deep fryer. Don't be fooled as I was. Considering that the glass lid does not fit on the pot while food is in the basket frying, what was the point of the lid anyway?
