Helen Chen's Asian Kitchen 12-inch Carbon Steel Stir Fry Pan



very good for Chinese cooking
This heavy duty carbon steel stir fry pan is good enough for Chinese cooking, I mean the real Chinese cooking. Finally I can turn my burner on high for truely stir fry. Now I can make really crisp stir fry veggies. They are very tasty.
You have to season it several times,I did three time since I bought it. Sometimes food expecially meat still sticked on the pan,I guess I should use this pan more to creat a stable natural unstick layer.
PS. About seasoning.
I followed the wok shop video(this video is awesome.)on Youtube to season it, but don't use vegetable oil for seasoning. I learned it from a hard way. Put more layer towels and aluminium'foil to protect the handle.

Good Wok
I use this smaller wok for meals for two people, in place of my larger wok that I've had since the '70's.

please listen to me- don't buy! lightening rust!
It's rusted after only one use and is completely not usable after 3 days-full of rust... I really don't understand how did they even get such high rating-which I trusted and thus bought this. I should have paid more attention to some of the feedbacks who warned us about this issue. please don't buy it. you will be really really disappointed.
