better than expected for the price!
I have always wanted a cast iron enameled dutch oven but as with many people could not justify the price of the leading French brand (even at the outlet!) I carefully researched this product & others for several months, and after much pondering, decided to order this from Amazon (try and find it at a lower price with FREE shipping, it is just NOT possible)
I have been using this for a month now & decided that I should post a review for all those other folks trying to decide if the cheaper one is "just as good" My simple answer is "YES!!!"...... Mine arrived with a few minor flaws which I documented with photos in case it got worse over time. These were essentially cosmetic but could be potential weak spots for chipping later.
This thing is heavy as all quality dutch ovens are going to be... but I can lift it adequately, even filled with many pounds of meat and vegetables.
I find this bakes things beautifully. For whatever reason there is a bit of sticking when I use it on my stove top, I...
