Excellent for Everything
In live in a small condo. With a small condo comes a small kitchen with very little storage space. Previously I had been using plastic colanders, but they wore out too quickly, and I didn't know the bpa content of the plastic. Then I found this guy.
Since I purchased it, I've used the colander to strain pasta, wash fruits and vegetables, and even as a stand to steam fish on. Its the perfect size for my pot (which I can't find on Amazon, but its a stock pot). I just put the colander into my pot, it hangs onto the edges of the pot, and then I can cook my noodles or pasta or vegetables. Its great.
Pros:
Multi-tasker
Easy to clean
Very durable
Cons:
Scratches easily (if you care about appearances, I don't)
Holes aren't rounded (cut into my fruit, only when it was new)
Catches on my scouring pad (only when its brand new)
I might be getting a second one because of its value..
light, durable, pretty big
also the color of stainless still is really good too.
I love stainless still feature. it is easy to clean and safe, i believe.
Perfect for Roasting Coffee
This is an ideal colander for roasting coffee to separate the chaff and help cool the beans. Perfect sized holes and nice over-all size for convenient use.
