Pampered Chef Deep Dish Baker

Get one of these!
I don't know why The Pampered Chef stopped making this deep dish baker. It is great for heating up appetizers, baking cornbread and baking pot pies. I broke my old one that was seasoned well. I ordered a new one the next day. Cannot be without this.

PamperedChefDeepDishBaker
The pan is a wonderful addition to any kitchen. This is our second one. After the original one developed a crack and eventally split in half. It had to be replace as fast as possible.

Simplex Heritage Tea Kettle, Copper

A Great Tea Kettle...
I drink a cup or more of tea every day, and wanted a nice tea kettle to replace my wife's which has a metal handle that can literally blister your hand if you forget to grab it with a thick towel. The gas-only simplex is a beautiful tea kettle, well made and nice to look at. After using it for a while, the only drawback I can think of is that it takes a little longer to boil water than your average kettle. The instructions say to only use low heat, and on my stove low is very low and water doesn't boil for over 30 mins! I've since been using low-medium heat, and have gotten the boiling time to 14-16 minutes. Much better than 30+ but still 5 minutes more than our old kettle.

All in all I really like this kettle and the extra 5 minutes it takes to boil water really makes no difference to me since the appearance and design is far superior to our old one. I don't think you'll be disappointed with this kettle.

Great item, poor service
I ordered this kettle as a birthday gift for my wife. We have used these kettles through the years, and they are second to none. I did not unpackage the kettle upon delivery, and the first time it was opened, was 2 weeks later on her actual birthday, the kettle had a dent in it. I contacted Amazon, who forwarded my return request to the supplier, Big Kitchen, they refused return of the item, said it had been used, and why would we be complaining 2 weeks after delivery. I will not order anything from Big Kitchen ever again, and am surprised Amazon would not "man-up" and take some responsiblity in this matter as well. I will use other suppliers in the future.

beautiful. Save Money & Energy with a copper tea kettle
A classic! Well made. You'll see it in some films in the background (Steel Magnolias, etc).

The beauty of heating water in copper is that the copper conducts heat very efficiently. To get this to boil, we put it on a very low setting on the gas range. A totally full kettle heats up in the usual time-perhaps faster-at a very low setting. You don't want to heat this on high as A. It wastes energy. B. It is not necessary. C. Will probably diminish the life span of the kettle. SAVE ENERGY & SAVE MONEY ON YOUR GAS BILL!

It cleans up beautifully with a quality copper cleaner. Will look beautiful for years to come.

This kettle is well worth it. Save up for it-buy one once & never again!

Update: Three years later, used daily, still looks beautiful. Whistle works well. Cleans nicely with copper cleaner. Does not scratch easily.

Circulon Symmetry Chocolate Hard Anodized Nonstick 5.5-Qt. Covered Casserole

the perfect pot/caserole
i recently purchased a complete set of circulon "Infinite" pots and pans replacing a circulon set i had used for 10 years. The old set had included a 4 1/2 quart casserole pan; circulon no longer makes these. i ended up missing this pan so i decided to purchase the chocolate 5 1/2 quart covered caserole to complete my set. This has ended up being my favorite pot and it is also a beautiful caserole for serving. The color is rich and luminous chocolate and not captured in the photo. It is light-weight, can go in the oven and dishwasher and you can use metal utensils without damaging the surface. Nothing sticks to this surface and the handles and lid have comfortable cool handles. Overall, I very much prefer circulon "symmetry" to the circulon "Infinite"

Not quite up to expectation
I have been using this item for several months now and have not been completely satisfied. I purchased it because it was advertised to be induction stove compatible. It must be borderline as when I place it on the burner sometimes the burner works and other times it does not. All of the other induction Pots, pans etc. work fine, but this one is erratic. I gave it a 4 star only because it would probably work just fine on a regular electric or gas burner. It seems well made and have no other complaints. Packaging was good and I received it within the time stated.

Using It a Lot
This is my new go-to pot for soups, stews, pastas and a lot of other things. Great replacement for my old dutch oven.

Thai Sticky Rice Steamer (basket only)

I loved it!!
This basket is great for steaming my sweet rice and other foods. Using this basket keeps moisture out of the rice so when the rice is cooked it does not stick all over your hands when handling the rice. It is also quick and easy to clean unlike the double metal steamers.

finally!
Believe it or not we could not find the Thai rice OR the cooker on Maui. Now I am in the desert and no problem. Found the pot in an Asian supermarket--but they did not have the bamboo steamer, go figure.
I bought the aluminum pot in the store, then ordered the steamer from amazon. Came in a few days in a big box. It's a lot bigger than it looks, my daughter's friend thought it was a hat, lol.

Great price, arrived quickly. Have made sticky rice two or 3 times already, was perfect. The basket is huge, have to force it under my stove vent which hangs kind of low... but you can wiggle it a bit and it fits. Just make sure you use a pot lid when you steam your rice. Lining the steamer with cheesecloth is not so easy, the cheesecloth falls down the sloped sides and anyway the rice was stuck to the cheesecloth, what a waste. Honestly was not worth the effort to use cheesecloth, the bamboo steamer is not THAT hard to clean.
First time I soaked the rice overnight, second...

Flat bottom, not round (picture doesn't match product!)
The sticky rice holder does not match the one in the picture- the picture has a conically shaped sticky rice holder, which makes it fit in any pot. The sticky rice holder I received has a flat bottom which is more shallow at the top (too shallow to fit in any pots I own). Right now, I can't make sticky rice with it (and I could if the seller sent me the steamer basket listed).

Mauviel M'Passion 4180.55 Canele 2-Inch Mold, Tinned Interior

Traditional, Beautiful and Functional.
If you wish to make the French pastry Canele de Bordeaux (also spelled/called Canneles Bordelais), the proper way to do it is using these traditional, tin-lined copper molds. Copper molds produce results that are far superior to that which can be achieved with Silicone molds by creating the requisite, carmelized, exterior "crust". Copper is an excellent conductor - that is why copper pots and pans distribute heat so evenly and quickly. It is also why electrical wire is made from copper. Silicone is not a good conductor and accordingly does not transmit heat readily - that is why oven mitts are often made from silicone and why, in electrical applications, silicone is sometimes used an insulator. As a result, silicone molds can produce a blonder or unevenly carmelized crust. In addition to that, copper molds are simply more fun to use than a floppy, synthetic mold. After all, the act of cooking can be enjoyable as well as eating what is created and these beautiful, copper molds...

Perfect for making traditional Caneles
When I first tried Caneles, I was studying abroad in Bordeaux. Several years later, I ran across Paula Wolfert's recipe for these tasty treats and decided to try making them myself. Originally, I tried to make them with the silicon molds as $20 a piece seemed a high price (even with the Mauviel name attatched). I had a modicum of luck with the flavor of my French pastries made in silicon molds, but to be excellent, I knew that I had to use beeswax and real copper molds; otherwise the outer shell was neither crispy nor did they have the almost bitter taste of burned sugar.
I bought 10 of these molds as a serious investment in my favorite dessert and have been more than pleased with them.
I have made several batches in the past few weeks and every batch has been as good as those I remember tasting in France.
Be sure to properly season the molds before first use and equally important is to not use soap and water to wash out the inside after use.
These are a great...

It really works!
I really love this copper mold then the ones that I bought in a local store which the seller claims that it came from France. I bought 4 of them from Amazon and it works like wonders, it doesn't stick and my cannelés turn out nice and perfect~~even i am thinking about buying more to replace my other set~~A MUST BUY!!!!

Cuisinart MCP-7N MultiClad Pro Stainless-Steel Cookware 7-Piece Cookware Set

Giving All-Clad a Run For Their Money!
I'm a fan of multiclad cookware, the kind that takes heat conductive aluminum and surrounds it with easy to maintain stainless steel. Professional cooks swear by it, but I'm just a home cook, and didn't even know about until a few years ago while watching America's Test Kitchen. This popular PBS series tests kitchenware, and reports their recommendations via their TV show, as well as 2 different magazines they publish. All-Clad cookware has always ranked up there as the best, but at a high price!

Fortunately for us middle class working stiffs, other cookware manufactures have picked up on the multiclad concept and have been producing their own versions. Enter Cuisinart's MultiClad Pro line.

This particular item takes all the benefits of multiclad and gives us a reasonably priced alternative. Compared to the All Clad Stainless Steel 9-Piece Cookware Set at a price tag of over $650, you are...

decent cookware at a decent price
I don't see the spotting that others have reported. A bit of white lime but that is not the fault of the cookware. Noticed that these are bit more expensive than other sets. Perhaps they are of a better quality. So far I'm very happy with them.

Great Set!
This cuisinart cooking set is perfect for my cooking needs. Awesome heavy duty quality, non stick, and looks great. I've cooked eggs, ground beef, pasta sauce, brown rice, pasta and steamed vegetables with this set all with ease, cleaning these pots and pans is very quick and easy as well.

Excellante 11-Inch Stainless Steel Colanders with 4.5mm Holes

Excellent for Everything
In live in a small condo. With a small condo comes a small kitchen with very little storage space. Previously I had been using plastic colanders, but they wore out too quickly, and I didn't know the bpa content of the plastic. Then I found this guy.

Since I purchased it, I've used the colander to strain pasta, wash fruits and vegetables, and even as a stand to steam fish on. Its the perfect size for my pot (which I can't find on Amazon, but its a stock pot). I just put the colander into my pot, it hangs onto the edges of the pot, and then I can cook my noodles or pasta or vegetables. Its great.

Pros:
Multi-tasker
Easy to clean
Very durable

Cons:
Scratches easily (if you care about appearances, I don't)
Holes aren't rounded (cut into my fruit, only when it was new)
Catches on my scouring pad (only when its brand new)

I might be getting a second one because of its value..

light, durable, pretty big
also the color of stainless still is really good too.

I love stainless still feature. it is easy to clean and safe, i believe.

Perfect for Roasting Coffee
This is an ideal colander for roasting coffee to separate the chaff and help cool the beans. Perfect sized holes and nice over-all size for convenient use.

Chicago Metallic Professional Nonstick Bake N' Roast Pan

The search is over - this is the pan to own!
I was very impressed with the performance of this pan. I have baked with other "silverstone" type pans that are readily available at mass merchandisers, but found I was replacing them due to warping and wear at least twice a year. Not with the Chicago Metallic line! This pan cooks very evenly. I noticed a difference immediately when I switched. My casseroles and especially my cakes came out better than with any previous pan. You will have to experiment when using it for the first or second time to determine the temperature and time changes to make to the receipe. I found that the recommended time/temperature change worked well for me. Cleanup is very easy. I am so impressed with this pan that I am one by one replacing all of my bakeware with the Chicago Metallic Professional line.

Great Goose Cooker
This was the first pan we have found large enough to roast two large geese at once. Deep enough to hold the enormous amount of rendered fat, wide enough and long enough for two geese side by side or a very large 25 lb turkey.

The best part comes after hours of splattering grease cooking at high temperatures in the oven. Cleanup is easy with some paper towels and a little hot running water in the sink. For the final touch we placed the whole mess in the dishwasher and it came out sparkling clean and looking like brand new. This is one of the best non-stick surfaces we have seen and the heavy duty steel construction means no warping at high temperatures. Thick enough steel to make pan gravy with even heat distribution.

Essentials for the down-sized kitchen
The critical questions for the down-sizer/right-sizer is this: how is a new kitchen possession better than something I already own? Can the new possession replace several other possessions?

The name says it all. The Bake 'n' Roast Pan is perfect for baking a cake (or casserole) or for roasting a good-sized piece of meat. Furthermore, it is lightweight, deep, and unbreakable. The 9x13 glass pan I had been using is none of these, nor is it deep enough for roasting. I had already down-sized my turkey roaster out my life, so buying this pan did not enable me to decrease the number of my kitchen pans. However, if you are really determined, you can flip the pan over and use the underside as a cookie sheet. That's three pans for the price of one.

Mirro A796SA84 Get A Grip Aluminum Nonstick 10-Piece Cookware Set, Red

great product!!!
I bought this product expecting something of lesser quality for what I paid....I was way wrong. My only regret was that I did not purchase more sets to give as gifts. The glass lids are great, the color is very modern and attractive. The quality of the silicone handles is a plus. Great Deal!

unusable after only 6 months
I normally don't write reviews for products on Amazon, but this one was bad enough that I want to make sure no one else suffers the same.

I bought this set in Aug 2009 and used them occasionally, around twice a week, primarily the saucepans. After a few months, I noticed some chipping of the teflon coating. This was very surprising given how little I used them, and how I always used soft utensils while cooking. As of last week, Mar 2010, I had to throw the entire set away since these "chips" have become huge tears in the teflon up to 1-inch in diameter that reveal the aluminum underneath.

I only purchased this set because I had good experience with Mirro products in the past, and ironically, the one saucepan I have left from that last (good) set still has its teflon coating intact. Mirro product quality must have gone through some significant drop since then.

DO NOT purchase this product!

Excellent Buy
This cookware set is an excellent buy for the price. It is very well made, sturdy, the color is great and the clear lids for the pots are a definate plus. Although the large pot lid is not interchangeable with the 10 inch skillet, I would still recommend this product.

5-qt. Saute Pan with Lid

very good quality pan
I already had purchased two large skillets with this type of lining and I was pleased with them so when I needed a large capacity pan I searched online until I located this one. I have already used it and it worked out well. I have found with this type of lining it worked best for me if I heated the pan and then sprayed with PAM and/or added a small amount of oil. the pans clean up well.

Wow! This is the best saute pan that I have ever owned!
I bought this pan to replace a old non-stick saute pan that was no longer non-stick. I bought this pan based on all of the other positive reviews and they did not even come close to describing how great this pan is. The non-stick coating is fantastic! I have now used this pan three times and nothing has come close to sticking at all making cleanup very easy. This non-stick coating will allow you to brown unlike other non-sticks but not as good as my stainless/copper pan. My only small complaint is that this 5qt pan is slightly smaller in diameter but a bit taller than my other 5qt pans; personally I would have preferred larger and shallower.

Really nice deep pan
Have been using this pan for about 4 months now and we really like it. It was hard to find a good quality deep non-stick pan. We were worried the glass top would look awful in no time but it seems to be holding up well.

Fox Run Stainless Steel Roasting Pan, 10 Inch x 14.5 Inch

Does the job
First, the pan is smaller than I had anticipated. The actual inside dimensions at the bottom of the pan are about 8 3/4" x 13 1/4".

Other than that, I'm satisfied with it. It's attractive, functional, easy-to-clean, has no sharp edges, and is heavy-duty enough for the average home kitchen.

lightweight but effective
This roasting pan is not as heavy as the really expensive stainless steel roasting pans, but it works well, heats evenly, and cleans easily. I've been pleased with the results.

Cheap cheap pan
The pan is just awful. I bought it for a second home and would have returned it were it not for the fact that it would have been just about impossible for me to get that done during the day that I was there. I have purchased foil-based, one-time use pans at the grocery store that felt nicer. Really. I've been looking for another Revere 13x9 stainless steel pan that would last for years like the one I have at home. The pan is lightweight, the edges are folded over (again giving rise to that grocery-store foil pan feel. If I could have given less than one star I would have.

Le Creuset Signature Enameled Cast-Iron 1-Quart Round French Oven, Cherry

The best!
Do not listen to the other review! This is cast iron its the best cookware there is because it is LEAST TOXIC and the tiny size is perfect for tiny jobs. If you want bigger you need to buy a bigger Le Creuset and do not buy this one! It is all heavy if you get cast iron. I love this and all my other le creuset. I get most of them at outlets much cheaper but some pieces not available else where I get on Amazon. Love this cookware!

RSVP Endurance® 4-Egg Poacher Set

Best poacher!
We searched far and wide for this: no plastic, easy to keep egg from sticking, easy to clean.

The best poacher at this price
I looked around and around. This is the most poacher for the money. The four cups easily hold a large egg with room to spare. The cups are non-stick coated though better if you use some cooking spray then the egg will fall right out. The cup handle, a U-shape, is very easy to handle even when wearing a glove pot holder; to place the egg on the plate. And the U-shape is a rod and is continuous around the cup so there is nothing to break long term. At the time of my purchase no one mentioned the pot handle. The handle is stainless steel, hollow and riveted to the pot. Though hollow it does not bend or flex in the least. The glass lid has a small, metal re-inforced hole in the top to release steam pressure. And the diameter is common as I'm using the lid on other pots too. I'm a novice cooking person and this poacher is very easy to use.

Highest Quality poacher for home use in 30 years
Have used egg poachers for home use for 30 years. This is by far the highest quality consumer egg poacher without shelling out major dollars for commercial grade equipment. Also holds extra large eggs without overfilling.

Calphalon 12-in. Commercial Hard-Anodized Omelette Pan.

Tough as nails, literally!
I do a good bit of my cooking at high temp's to develop a crust on a hamburger, or a steak, to brown off a thin-cut pork chop before the center is overcooked and that sort of thing. That's tough on a true non-stick skillet and they just can't stand up to that kind of sustained heat. They typically wear out after about 6 months of my rather intense cooking. I decided to try one of the anodized aluminum skillets to see if it was a match for my style of cooking and am pretty happy with it.

This is NOT a "Non-stick" skillet, it is stick RESISTANT. Do NOT crack an egg into an un-oiled anodized aluminum pan unless you want to explore it's scrubber-friendly hardness. The egg will stick like white on Mitt Romney!

However, if you want to develop a fonde on the bottom of your skillet while searing a steak so you can deglaze it with a splash of red wine, this is the pan for you. If you want to saute' a stir-fry dish, this is a good pan. It excels at high temperature...

My favorite pan!
I had this pan for about 25 years and used it to make a variety of meals. I have other very old commercial hard-anodized Calphalon pans, including a stockpot, two saucepans and a tiny skillet. They have all performed excellently and held up well. But the 12-in. Calphalon is the favorite of all my pans (including some from other manufacturers).

It warped, although I followed the care directions throughout the years. I don't think the warp was my fault or a manufacturing defect on Calphalon's part. I don't blame the pan. You should have seen the old cooktop I was using it on. I didn't even realize it was warped until the recent installation of a new flat-glass cooktop.

I still had the instructions but not the receipt. To Calphalon's credit, they replaced it with a brand new one. The quality seems just as good as the older one, and looking at the price on Amazon, I think I paid about the same in non-inflation-adjusted dollars for it way back then. It's an...

Preserve Round 19-Ounce Food-Storage Container, Small, Apple Green

Great product, but don't buy the Mini through Amazon/Prime!
I bought the Mini version here, wanting to try them out. I haven't seen them in stores locally although I have liked the other Preserve products I've tried. So far, the product is great... cute, just the size I wanted, and I like the screw-on top since it doesn't leak. The only downside I can think of is that if you have more than one, you can't easily tell what's inside since it's not clear or even slightly see through (the cap is, though, so you can always peek through that).

Anyway, the product is great, but as of the time I am writing this, don't get it through Amazon/Prime. Normally I hate reviews that don't review the product but complain about shipping or the cost, but I wanted to warn people. When I bought it it was about seven bucks, and for that price I was assuming I would at least get the 2-pack, and thought maybe I'd get the six-pack since an image of that was shown in the product images. (I wasn't really thinking that since I kind of knew better, but I was...

Review for 19-oz Small container AND mini
I wish Amazon would split these items apart so I could review them separately.

19-OUNCE SMALL CONTAINER: *** stars

Unfortunately, anyone who has smaller hands, like kids, will not be able to open this thing. The screw top is simply too wide to get the hand around. That's unfortunate, because we'd expect the screw tops to be much more leak-proof than a pop-top container, but as it is, the Small container is unusable. Pop-top containers for now.

8-OUNCE MINI CONTAINER: ***** stars

This size screw-top is excellent for any sized hand (probably not toddlers, but that could be a good thing). 1 cup is perfect for carrying around all sorts of snacks that you don't want crushed (e.g. hard-boiled eggs, crackers, nuts, fruit) and the reusability compared to, say, a ziploc/zip-top snack bag is infinitely better. Other uses: salad dressing, yogurt, cheese cubes, etc.

BONUS POINTS:
BPA-free and completely post-consumer recycled #5 plastic...

Great eco option!
I have bought several different sizes of the preserve products & love them all. My reason for not giving it 5 stars is that sometimes they are hard to open with the twist top (especially if you freeze them) but otherwise, they are great! LOVE that they are recycled, BPA free and use my favour yogurt containers for their raw materials. Highly recommend all sizes and shapes.

Cuisinart DSA-11 Dishwasher Safe Hard-Anodized 11-Piece Cookware Set

Perfect! And dishwasher safe!
It's non-stick, hard-anodized, has glass lids, stay-cool handles, oven safe, and dishwasher safe! That's a hard combination to find, especially the dishwasher safe part with the non-stick interior and hard-anodized exterior. This set was purchased as a gift for someone with a ceramic/glass cooktop, and she says it works well on that surface. No problems with throwing them in the dishwasher, no problems with the non-stick surface. And they're lovely to look at and use, too. The only thing to note is that the handles on the cookware do stay cool, but the handles on the lids do not, so you'll need potholders when you lift the lids off.

Now I'm not as impressed
I bought these mainly for the fact that they are the hard-anodized type and dishwasher safe too. Also for the fact that metal utensils can be used in them, because my son forgets with other non-stick cookware. I just fried 2 eggs in the small 8" open skillet without any oil on medium to medium high heat. They slid right out of the pan easily and are cooked perfectly. By the way the saute pan lid will fit over the larger open skillet perfectly, and I did use the larger pan lid to cook my eggs in the small open skillet. That lid does not fit the small skillet perfectly, but it did work.

Only thing I did not like when I opened them is that there is a seam in the metal rims on the lids which shows. This is minor, but I wish they had made them without the seam being visible.

Update 1 year later:
The outside of this cookware does not wear well over time. Any grease that gets on the outside during cooking will cause burned on stains...

Low Quality Pans! Horrible Customer Service!!!!!!!
NOT DISHWASHER SAFE!!!! I spent 200$ on this sent on 10/17. It was great for about two months and then the non stick coating started peeling off two the pans. They were totally unusable - even milk would stick to them.

The pans are also very light and not ideal for electric burners because they keep sliding around! Its worth noting that I always use non stick safe utensils to lift stuff off.

I had to send the set back to CUISINART customer service(Paying over 50$ for shipping on my own - They ask you to pay for return shipping also). It has been more than two months and I did not hear anything from CUISINART on this so I called them and found out that the set is back ordered and there's nothing they can do. They WILL NOT give me a refund either so now I have to go and buy a new set.

I've learnt my lesson and will NEVER buy a CUISINART product again.

Light weight but solidly constructed, nothing rattles feels like the kettle is well put together. Could go into details about the spun metal construction, the aluminum plate at the bottom for more efficient transfer of heat, and how the handles and spout are spot welded to the main body of the kettle. But all that is just frivolous detail, though as is how the lid opening is rolled round and inward and you really have to feel around the rolled metal to find the edge which is rather smooth. It's a solid kettle and should stay that way unless it gets kicked or tossed about like a football.

Relatively easy to clean and fill with the removable lid, though a smaller hand than mine would make interior washing a bit easier. THAT feature is a plus for me as I like to be able to wash and inspect the inside of the kettle and make sure nothing is building up in there.

Seems to heat fast in spite of the large capacity, packaging claims it can be used on all stoves. Gas,...

Excellent
Excellent, quality. The whistle is loud enough to hear from any room in the house, but not loud enough to annoy me.

Pretty but not useful
I love the style of this teapot. I heat up water for tea or coffee daily, so wanted something that would look nice sitting on stove. The little loop on the end of the spout becomes too hot to handle, so you need a hot mitt in order to open it for pouring. After less than 30 days it developed a leak around the bottom seal. For the price, I would definitely expect better quality.

Town Food Service 14 Inch Steel Mandarin Style Wok W/Wood Hdle

Well, it's handcrafted but not with the best of quality.
If you are looking for a cheap authentic handcrafted wok, this it it. However if you are looking for quality craftsmanship you may want to spend a little bit more time searching. The rivets attaching the handle to the wok are not smoothed over nor are they consistently even on the inside of the wok. The handle is a cheap piece of wood (mine had a small split) that is held to the wok by a small screw. With a bit of self-tightening, it did feel like it was solid wok. It does cook like a wok but for the money I might as well go to Sysco and pick one up.

I love this cook wear
Got it very quickly in the mail,
It's a steel authentic Wok from china, nothing better than that!

what I did was, first washed and scrubed all the oils off (repeated), burned in my own peanut oil, washed again, and cooked,

I really don't have complaints with this wok, I use it about 6 times a week,
it's cheap and taste amazing,

Pan is good for 25bucks

and honestly I've never seen metal rust to a point where it can't be used within one hour >_>

Rusted then burned
What can I say that the title already hasn't. This thing rusted only 1 hour after I washed off the factory gunk that came on it. I have never seen anything rust so quickly in my life. Tried to heat and season it with oil and within 5 minutes the wok started turning brown as if it was burning. Biggest waste of $25 ever, do not buy.

Farberware Dishwasher Safe Aluminum Nonstick 3-Quart Straining Saucepan, Champagne

Genius Design
I don't know much about cookware. Generally I just pick up pots and pans from Ross or Target at the lowest price. In turn, over the years I've grown used to having to open the lid of my pot after cooking something and dumping it into a colander, and heaven help me if I didn't have a clean one available ("I guess I'll just put something on the lip while pouring out the water and...no, no, don't fall out ACK!") After my well-worn pots finally gave up the ghost I decided to take advantage of my Amazon Prime and look outside of basic retail for a solution. And lo and behold, a pot with a colander built into it. Add to Cart? Whyyesthankyou!

After using it for a few weeks now, it has certainly lived up to expectations. The built-in drainer is simple yet brilliant in its design, making cooking more efficient and hey, having one less dish to clean is no water off my back!

3 qt teflon pan with strainer lid
I just love this pan; it is teflon and tall, and strains the water outy after I'm done cooking in it! I now have two because both places I cook I wanted to have this pan! It is great! Recommend it highly! It arrived quickly!

Just the right size
This is a terrific addition to our Farberware set. Nothing sticks and it is just the right size. A Goldilocks pot!

Graniteware 16 Quart Steamer with Insert

Graniteware 16qt steamer
We used our 16qt steamer last night for the first time to make tamales. We loved it! The steamer we had previously was only 8 qts, and didnt have a very deep insert, so you coudn't cook very many tamales at one time. This product has a deep insert which is perfect for making tamales.

16 qt steamer
Product was as advertised, good value, and shipped promptly. Favorably impressed with the company and product.

Great Seafood Steamer
I bought this as a present for a close friend and like it so much that I will be purchasing one for myself in the near future. The price was right and I have no complaints about it. It is very good quality also.

Regency Wraps RW1113 Professional Butcher Grade Freezer Paper, 20 Square Feet Roll

Good product
Didn't work for what I was gonna use it for (I was trying to make a stencil but I suck at cutting things cleanly with an xacto knife); otherwise the product was great, I can use it to wrap stuff in the freezer!

RARE COMONDITY - ARE TO FIND IN STORES
Glad I got two rolls, because contents in one is rather small. Works good and my journey for freezer paper has just
ended.

Amico Kitchen Replacement Cooker Pan Pot Kettle Lids Knob

no more burned hands
It fits my crock pot lid perfectly. I should have ordered it sooner. Hesitated because did not know if it would fit the hole in the glass. It does and is great!

Perfect replacement
So closely matches the original that not many people can tell the difference. Fits very well and is very secure.

Didn't Last
The knob was cheap. It lasted approximatly two months before the plastic broke off. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Mastrad A68900 Silicone Square Steam Cooker, Black

BIG Orka
Cooking in the Orka Steam Cooker is just about a fool proof deal. Meats are cooked tender & moist. Heating up Pizza, bread, left overs are a cinch. Easy to clean, manually or by dishwasher. I even baked a Turkey thigh in it and it was DEE-lish!!!
A must have for the person who hates a lot of pots for quick and easy cooking!

Single Most Used Item in Kitchen
We're a family of five. This item is NEVER EVER put down. When one person uses it, the next person needs it and so on.

We use it to steam veggies (what I mostly use it and it is perfect for that,) reheat pizza, rice, cook chicken & fish, etc. The best part, in my opinion, is that when it's time to wash it, it is so easy. Nothing sticks to this thing, not even cheese.

I've had it for over a year and it looks brand new, even after all the abuse we've put it through.

Instant hit in my kitchen
This is without doubt now my favorite microwave accessory in my kitchen along with the other Orka products I have purchased here on Amazon. You can cook anything in it and I even made an omelets today for the first time in the Microwave.

American Kitchen Tri-Ply 8-Inch Fry pan with Nonstick Interior

Solid pan that is worth the money **look for update**
We have been minimalists when it comes to kitchen supplies so we had two fry pans in our cupboard. One was a Calaphon and the other was Regal Ware. We got both of them about the same time and the Regal Ware was in near perfect condition still, no chipping or flaking. The Calaphon was in bad shape and the coating had flaked off of half the pan and I knew it was time to get rid of it so I came on Amazon to look up pans. I wanted something by Regal Ware since the brand had proven to hold up to regular use in my house. I found this set of pans (I bought the 8", 10" and 12" and American Kitchen is by Regal Ware) and was really hesitant to spend that kind of money on them but I am so glad I did. These are really solid pans, made in the U.S.A. and covered by a 25-year warranty (that is easy to register for). We coat with oil every 2-3 weeks and absolutely nothing has stuck in these pans. It also says not to use non-stick sprays with them and I balked at that at first thinking everything...

Wonderful Pan. Hefty. Slippery. American Made.
I love this pan. It's a great size - just over ten and a half inches across at the top - with a very nicely designed slant / curve to the sides that makes flipping things a breeze. Flipping is also helped by the excellently sized and shaped handle - good and long at over eight and a half inches and nice and broad so it is easy to hold on to, without being so big or clunky that smaller hands should have a problem. It's also a hefty pan, more so than it may look. Each time I pick it up I am surprised - pleasantly - by the weight. That weight comes largely from a thick bottom that distributes heat very evenly. The sides are also pretty thick, giving the whole pan - including where the handle connects - a rock solid feel. According to the company website the pan is made from stainless steel covering an aluminum core that covers the bottom and also runs up the sides.

I think almost any non-stick you can buy these days is going to do a good job at first. This one...

Works great.
Pan works very well, cleans up easy.
Pan also has stayed flat and not warped, which is a bonus on our flat top range.
Made in the USA is a bonus too.

Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick 12" Everyday Pan

The pan's names says it all.... !!
My wife is an excellent chef. We eat high-end restaurant quality dinner virtally every night. We bought a set of non-stick pans quite a number of years ago, and one pan was used so much that she essentially wore it out and the non-stick surface eventually failed. The pan that she liked so much, and used almost every day was a pan that is very similar to this pan. The pan has no long handles, but rather two short handles, one on each side, making it very easy to grip and control. When I started to look for a replacement, I immediately found the Calphalon Everyday Pan. The first one I bought was the hard anodized 12" pan. She loved it but she also wished that it was non-stick. I also bought the 10" non-stick at the same time as this first pan. She loved that one also and used it all the time, but needed the 12". So, we turned around and bought this non-stick 12" Everyday Pan. She literally uses one of these three pans (almost always the 12" Calphalon non-stick) every day. Since I do the...

Hot handles
This pan is the pefect pan for so much of my cooking.
It is for that reason that I am so frustrated with the amount of heat the side handles and the top handle retain.
I have never burnt my fingers as much as I have with these pans.
The non stick surface is amazing, and the pans clean up in a second.
They would get a five star if they threw in a set of insulated handle covers.

I LOVE this pan!
I use it EVERYDAY! I can sear/brown my food - and put into the oven to finish cooking! No more dirtying a skillet AND a baking sheet! The only think I DON'T use it for is soups and stews. Clean up is an absolute breeze. I used to be a fan of T-Fal - not anymore. Like they say - "You only get what you pay for!" Paid $79 here at Amazon - worth every penny!

12" COMMERCIAL ALUMINUM NON-STICK FRY FRYING PAN - NSF

Great Fry Pan
I have used this fry pan almost daily for 9 months. It is heavy aluminum and distributes the heat very evenly. The bottom surface has remained flat and has NOT warped. The non-stick surface is durable and works as designed. If you are looking for commercial quality on the cheap, then this pan is for you.

Yummy
Decisions, decisions flooding into the mind of concerned young people today. Which app is next? Why was Amy Winehouse taken from us so soon? Where can I go for organic Vaseline? Am I perplexed? Obviously. Was this a mind boggling dilemma? Yes indeed it was. I just could not decide which frying pan would improve my life the most, so eventually I just closed my eyes and let my mouse decide for me and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Perfecto!!!

It's a fry pan
What can I say? It's a fry pan. Heats up nice and even. Nonstick coating. Handle doesn't get too hot on short jobs like saute veggies or frying up a few pork chops.

Texsport Cast Iron Skillet - 13-Inch

Big, but awesome
Much bigger than I expected. Should be noted that a lot of recipes reference 10 or 12 inch skillets. However, one of my favorite tools in the kitchen. Using it for everything from steaks to deep dish pizzas.

Be sure to properly season it. This really was not too hard to do. Only other tip I have is to wash it and then heat dry it in the oven to avoid rust.

Great product.
Exactly what I expected it to be ... I gave it as a gift and my son and he loved it.

Heuck 33000 Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron 10-1/2-Inch Chicken Fryer

horrible smelly covering on pan, horrible pan
this pan came"pre seasoned" the pre seasoning was so toxic smelling I would not use this pan until i had actually gotten got my drill with a sandpaper bit and ground the covering off the entire pan and lid. When i first placed pan on stove it smelled like gasoline. Lodge preseasons its pans with olive oil apparently Heuck preseasons its pans with a petroleum based product or paint. As I use cast iron because I don't want the toxcicity of teflon I found this appalling, i would rather use the teflon, at least that doesn't smell! The actual pan is nowhere near as smooth as the Lodge pan ( for approximately the same price). The lid is not one piece but has the little knob screwed on the top. I fear the screw will melt if subjected to the high temps the rest of the pan should handle. The pan itself does not appear to be even some areas are clearly thinner than others. When I read the instructions for use it said to wash the pan in hot soapy water before use! Anyone who...

Absolutely love it
I have ordered several different cast iron pans over the past few months. This one is by far the best. It comes very well seasoned and cooks excellent right from the start. Just make sure you take the time to re-season it and care for it correctly. I was a little disappointed to find out that the cover is only heat safe to 350 degrees while the pan is safe to 500 degrees but not a big deal.

GREAT!
WE GAVE THIS TO A FREIND OF OURS WHO COOKED IN IT JUST HOURS AFTER SHE RESEIVED IT. SHE IS A VERY PARTICULAR COOK...SHE LOVED IT! BUY THE WAY CHRISTMAS DINNER WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN THE SAME W/OUT IT.

J.A. Henckels International Classic Clad 10-Piece Cookware Set

Very happy with these
I purchased this set because I was replacing my 16 year old radiant cooktop with a new induction cooktop and most of my older cookware was not induction capable.

I decided that these were a reasonable alternative to the more expensive All Clad cookware and, at this price, if they didn't work out well I could always afford to replace them.

I used them originally with the old radiant cooktop and was quite impressed with how quickly they heated, how well the cooked, and how easy they were to clean. I had expected stainless steel to be hard to clean but these are not. At times I will need to soak them for an hour or so prior to cleaning but most of the time that is not necessary. So far we have used regular dishwashing liquid to clean them.

I'm even more impressed with their performance with my new GE induction cooktop and I particularly like the interior volume markings. It is amazing how I can "titrate" the level of simmering/bubbling/boiling with the...

Excellent, superb quality cookware!
I've owned this set of cookware for over two years, and I love them! The packaging was the first sign of quality. Everything is individually placed in plastic bags, then placed in cloth bags. They are superb quality, sturdy, very well-constructed, good looking, heat evenly, and I expect them to last a very, very long time. They've tarnished slightly, but it does not affect the results, and may be caused by occassionally cleaning them in the dishwasher. They clean up nicely for non-non-stick pans. :) They are a bit pricey, but if you want long lasting cookware that produces consistent results without requiring special care, treat yourself to this awesome set!

Excellent design
The ergonomic handles make these pots and pans much better than any other similar pots and pans available. The handles really do stay cool, and they make the pans a lot easier to lift and move. These pans heat very evenly. They do not have a nonstick surface, a feature I prefer. I have a glass cook top stove and usually use a medium low setting for foods that are cooked without water. Baking soda works well for cleaning any residue that sticks to the pan when a higher heat is used. I never use scratchy pads or commercial scouring powders to clean these pans, just baking soda on a dish cloth or liquid dish detergent and warm water. The lids are very convenient, both to use and to store. I prefer these metal lids to the glass lids that come with many pans.

All-Clad Brushed Stainless D5 8-Quart Stock Pot with Lid

This is the real deal, don't bother with the pasta pentola
I use this weekly for making fresh and dried pasta, and for cooking batches of stock and soup. If you have problems with splattering or spillage while performing these tasks, this pot will help make you less of a messy chef!

It's particularly good for delicate cream based soups and sauces, which burn quickly & easily on inferior cheap disk bottom stockpots. (unless you have a dedicated sous chef to stir for hours on end) Although it's true that, if all you're going to do is boil water, you can get away with a cheaper piece of cookware. But if you like to use your kitchen tools for as many tasks as possible, it is hard to go wrong with this. Made in USA, too!

Also, the pasta insert that is included with the pasta pentola version of this pot seems highly impractical. As someone who has worked in professional kitchens, a "spider" type strainer, or even a smaller chinois (conical strainer)is an easier, cheaper, and much less messy way to cook multiple batches of...

Quality USA made product
Bought this for our new GE Profile induction range. No sound from the induction coils

Great product. Built USA tough.

Enjoy making pasta in this pot.

Pillivuyt Porcelain Extra Deep Rectangular Roaster With Ears, Extra Large - 15-by-10-by-3-Inch

big and beautiful
Just what we wanted. It is much bigger than any roaster we have found. In addition, it is made well and looks great. Definitely worth the money. It is the kind of thing that we will use for the rest of our lives.

Beautiful, sleek, functional
Even heating, extra extra large capacity, clean white color matches everything. I'll probably have this for the rest of my life.

For a product that costs this much, it didn't seem very durable if it broke during shopping. The packaging looked very substantial with a lot of bubble wrap. I didn't have it replaced because I really need more durable products for the heavy use I give my cookware.
