Simple and Effective
This Wok is light and simple, I followed the directions and seasoned it before using. I was used to cooking in cast iron in a 10 inch skillet, and this Wok is faster and doesn't burn the food. My family is loving the stir fry because I cook each plate to order and that way everyone gets what they like. I use my Wok on top of a electric stove and it works just fine with the included ring. I keep water close by to add between portions to clean and keep the Wok from smoking. My only negative is that this type of cooking creates a lot of smoke, but i am planning on getting some peanut oil because of its higher smoke point.

you may need a a different ring for a gas range.
if you have a gas cooktop and don't want the flame to flare around, a wire wok ring (it's available on amazon) may be a better idea. overall, this is a fantastic wok, though i regret buying it with the ring. they shipped both in the same box and charged me extra shipping for the ring too. so yeah, five stars for the wok, three stars for shipping pricing and policy from the vendor. overall 4 stars.
